Brian Young Kim

Brian is an Assistant Vice President, Relationship Manager at 1st Century Bank. He has over 20 years of banking experience, specializing in deposit services by developing unique bank products and services tailored to personal and commercial business relationships. Having worked in and managed various positions in banking, Brian possesses a deep knowledge and understanding of client needs and strategies to help grow relationships.

Before joining 1st Century Bank, Brian served as a Private Banker at First Republic Bank. In that role, he managed over $1 billion in deposits for clients of varying sizes and complexities. He excelled in all aspects of real estate, including private equity, family offices, property management and development, as well as working with legal and medical professionals. Brian’s professional qualifications include holding his Series 6 and 63 licenses, further establishing his credibility and expertise in the field.

On a personal level, Brian is a dedicated family man. He and his wife, Amy, raise two children and two Malamute/Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mixes. Their shared love for the great outdoors, including fishing, hiking, camping, off-roading, and dirt bike/trail riding, is a testament to their strong bond and Brian’s adventurous spirit.
