Alex Markarian

Alex is an Assistant Vice President, Relationship Manager with the Commercial Real Estate Group at 1st Century Bank. He has over 10 years of experience in banking, beginning his career as a teller and working his way up through loan support, credit analysis and portfolio management before joining 1st Century Bank. His primary expertise is investor real estate lending, which has been his focus since 2018.

Alex earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Outside of banking Alex enjoys giving back to the youth of his community through coaching high school and club volleyball teams since 2005 and is currently a head coach for San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club.
