I was inspired to pursue law because of the legal obstacles my parents experienced when they arrived in the United States. I started my law firm in 2001, and I now have a thriving practice with more than 100 team members. I see my practice as a family, and it’s our firm’s motto that both our personnel and clients are treated as such. The majority of my staff are working moms with hybrid schedules. I want them to have the ability to work without sacrificing time with their children — an opportunity my parents did not have.

I was introduced to Arpy Zakarian and Gil Mor several years ago, and we began a banking relationship that has grown over the years. When they joined 1st Century Bank, I transitioned all of my business accounts from my bank of 15 years because I was immediately impressed with their service.

This is the first banking relationship I’ve had where I have the personal cellphone numbers of my bankers. Arpy, Gil and Laura Villacorta have never missed a call. If we need an emergency wire, within minutes, Laura has the document forwarded to us for signature. Working with 1st Century has been an incredible experience.
