LOS ANGELES CENTERS FOR ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE
Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA) began in the late 1970s as a coalition of citizens concerned about heroin use in the community that was affecting youth and returning Vietnam Veterans. Since then, our agency has expanded behavioral health services to include prevention, recovery support, mental health treatment, medical care, and vocational assistance for clients who are in recovery and ready to work throughout Los Angeles County.
Since 2018, 1st Century Bank has been assisting L.A. CADA with fulfilling our mission to save lives, unite families, and protect the community. Our Relationship Manager, Robert Rodriguez, is also a member of our agency’s board of directors. He knows from experience that nonprofits have unique financial needs. Over the past few years, he and Claudia Muñoz, our Private Banking Officer, have worked diligently to ensure our success by increasing L.A. CADA’s line of credit, helping refinance our properties, and making sure we were first in line for PPP. Robert and Claudia go above and beyond for us and L.A. CADA couldn’t be the lifesaving agency we are without their help.
