Arash Law
I started my law practice with a desk, a laptop and a phone. For the first year, that was about it. It was right in the middle of the economic crisis of 2007 and 2008 ─ a cloudy time for anybody to start anything.
I had decided to work with plaintiffs, representing people who were injured through no fault of their own. I soon realized that, like anything else, you need the right people around you. Good humans. Good as in good-hearted and good as in talented. You need that from your staff and from your outside support. For me, that includes my bank.
I worked with one of the big banks, but I was just a number to them. I couldn't get ahold of anyone, and there was no relationship. Luckily, I discovered 1st Century Bank, which is right in the same building as my practice. Once I switched, my only regret was that I hadn’t done it sooner.
